Our “Little Church that Does Big Things,” will celebrate 250 years of worship, witness, and welcome throughout 2026. Originally chartered in 1776, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church has been and provides a sanctuary where everyone is welcome. We plan on celebrating throughout the year with fun, exciting and memorable activities to mark this milestone with gatherings that honor our heritage, bless our neighbors, and have some family fun in the process.
Our theme of “Faith, Hope & Community” will not only be our foundation in celebrating our semi-sesquicentennial but it also defines who we are, what we stand for and how we continue to evolve. We have been rooted in the community and in fostering our faith through the years. Our anniversary of worship, prayers, music, and remembrance will give thanks for the many saints who planted and have sustained our congregation.
As we look forward with hope and courage, our anniversary year is not only a finish line, but also a starting line for the next chapter. And, as always, our community draws us together as well as inviting in and reaching out to the community around us. From intergenerational fellowship to service projects in North Wales (and beyond), and partnerships with neighbors and other faith communities, we’re celebrating by being present—wherever we are directed.
We look forward to having you join us! Please take a look at the calendar of events that are already scheduled, and stay tuned for additional activities where we welcome you to be a part of history with us! For more information, please contact Bernie Heinze: bernie@theheinzegroup.com.
